Caretaker

JOB TITLE                                           Caretaker

 

Reporting to:                                     HR Training Co Ordinator

Responsible for:                               Cleaning Factory and Office Buildings

 

About the role:

 

As Cleaner/Caretaker you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a variety of settings including office building and production facility.  You will perform a range of cleaning tasks to ensure the environment is clean, organised and sanitised as well as key holding duties.

 

Working hours 10 hour per week in the evenings e.g. 4pm-6pm, 4.30-pm-6.30pm etc

 

What we will ask of you:

 

  • Key holding duties.
  • Responsible for brushing, mopping and vacuuming offices, toilets, corridors and canteen areas.
  • Ensuring all bins are emptied in offices, communal areas and canteen and waste segregated in line with the recycling requirements.
  • Responsible for cleaning windows, mirrors and glass surfaces in offices, toilets and canteen.
  • Ensuring toilets and sinks are sanitized and cleaned daily
  • Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper and paper towels.
  • Responsible for reporting any necessary repairs or replacement needed throughout the facility.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of premises.

What we are looking for:

 Essential

  • Previous cleaning experience.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to complete daily and weekly checklists.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Good physical health to perform duties of the job.
  • Key holding duties.
